Tania Samuel is a Melbourne based artist.  After graduating from Camberwell College of Arts, London, she moved initially to Paris to work in the fashion industry and from there pursued a career as a graphic designer in London and New York.  The move to Australia was an opportunity to follow her passion and set up a studio to focus on her painting.

Her practice is driven by the exploration of nature based imagery that explores the permanent and impermanent.  Unashamedly aesthetic and beautiful, frayed edges fall into darkness, shadows loom on the edge of the periphery and sharp bright edges bring her paintings into focus.
