Drawing inspiration from 17th Century Dutch flower paintings, the works uses digital collage as a jumping off point, executed in oil and acrylic on canvas and finished off with vibrant modern colour.s The layers of fragmented flowers collide in a transient floral landscape that drift into darkness, like peeling wallpaper, the shifting layers provoke the notion of a time frame narrative.
